Who is responsible
Sorvana Venues is owned and operated by AMCWEY LTD. Our registered company details are at the foot of this page. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact inquiries@sorvanavenues.com.
Information we handle
We may receive your name, company, business contact details, event requirements and correspondence. We may also record relevant professional contact details and event information published on organisation websites, company records or other public business sources. Please do not include attendee lists, sensitive personal information or payment card details in an initial inquiry.
Why we use information
We use relevant information to answer inquiries, understand event requirements, research suitable options, arrange requested introductions, keep business records and develop professional venue relationships. We may contact an appropriate business about a relevant published event or venue offer. We use legitimate interests where appropriate for this business activity, considering the rights and expectations of the people concerned. Where we take steps at your request towards a contract with you personally, or perform it, we may rely on contractual necessity. Legal obligations may require some record-keeping.
Choices and business contact
You can ask us to stop marketing or object to processing based on legitimate interests by replying to an email or using the address above. We keep a minimal suppression record so we can respect a request not to be contacted. We do not use automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Sharing and international inquiries
Our email and website providers process information to deliver and protect their services. If you ask us to approach or introduce venues, we share only the relevant brief and business contact information needed for that purpose and agree the intended introductions with you. We do not sell personal information. If an inquiry requires personal information to be sent outside the UK, we assess applicable transfer safeguards before sharing it. Ask us for details of recipients and arrangements relevant to your inquiry.
The website and inquiry builder
The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not load third-party tracking tools. The inquiry builder prepares a draft in your own email application or lets you copy your brief into webmail. Its fields are not sent to a website server or stored by the site. A message reaches us only if you send it. Our hosting and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses or request logs to deliver and protect the service.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and business relationship information for as long as needed for the purpose, any resulting work and applicable record-keeping requirements. We review unsuccessful inquiries and prospect records and delete or anonymise information no longer needed. We may retain relevant records to establish or defend legal claims and minimal contact restrictions to honour objections.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it. You also have a right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Updates
We will update this notice if our service or information handling changes. The date above shows the latest revision.
